Preparation Pays!

I still got a month before leaving for my mission. I decided to work with the missionaries. We met up with this investigator who loves to use the bible to contradict our teaching. When the Elders and Ward mission leader try to clear up things, doctrines that are really easy to understand, he starts to quote some "scriptures" that he claims contradicts what we are teaching. I decided to interfere and explain stuff about the bible which I learned for years of seminary, institute, and teaching! He was very shock that a 19 year old kid knows a lot about the bible! I urge you guys who wants to go on a mission to ask for calling from your bishop to help you prepare for a lifelong of service and leadership. Preparation Pays!

Ward Missionary Work

Could you imagine a person serving another ward without serving his/her own ward? I have been thinking this question in my mind. How dare I serve another ward without serving mine so I decided to work with the Missionaries almost every week!

Here's some pic of the Elder & Sisters in our ward that I have worked with.

The Decision

Since I was a kid I always wanted to go on a mission. Now that I'm in the right age I submitted my Mission application which took me a month or two to finish. Just like prophet Lehi of the Book of Mormon I wanted others to be blessed by the gospel as well. That's the main reason I wanted to go on a Mission to be an instrument in blessing others and I can have a deeper conversion as well. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ can change people even the vilest of sinners.

After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the gospel - Prophet Joseph Smith
The Atonement of Jesus Christ changed me.
